At Maddox Design Studio, we provide cohesive architectural and interior spaces that are thoughtfully tailored to each client and project.
Whether an architectural or interiors project, we follow a 3 phase process.
Phase One: Discovery

We begin each project with a consultation where you will meet with a designer to discuss the scope of work and design direction.

If the project is a new build or an addition, we asses the building site and determine an potential obstacles and Municipal approvals that will be required.
Phase Two: Design​
Once the scope and direction are solidified, we begin the initial design concept stage. This includes establishing design elements and overall style, preliminary planning, and developing design floor plans.

After the design concept is approved, we move into the construction drawing and selections stage. This involves producing more detailed floor plans and elevations, structural drawings as required, 3D renders, and schedules.​If the project is an interiors project, we will also begin to provide material options.

Once the final drawings are approved, we will submit them to the Municipality for any required permits and coordinate with the Municipality on your behalf.
Phase Three: Construction Support
​
When the Municipality issues the permits and you have a builder on board, we will assist with continued support as needed throughout the construction.
​
In an architectural capacity, this includes communicating with the builder regarding any inquiries.
​
With an interiors project, this includes assisting you with ordering interior materials, managing deliveries of those materials, and coordinating with required trades to ensure that the design is being implemented as per the drawings and design intention.
